Abstract

In A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court a time traveller attempts to introduce modern technology into a past society. Hank Morgan, a Yankee engineer from Connecticut, is accidentally transported back in time to the court of King Arthur, where he use his knowledge of modern technology to convince the inhabitants of that time he is a magician. The fantastic tale of Twain’s time-travelling protagonist Hank Morgan has been adapted for several film version.
